Music

Category Description
Blues Blues has been around for a long time and has many variations. These include everything from a single accoustic guitar (see Robert Johnson) to a fully electric band (see Stevie Ray Vaughan). Jazz Includes classical jazz, as well as funkier and improv variations
Rock Generic rock; includes classic rock and newer stuff.
Funk Get funky with your bad self
Angry Loud and angry music.
Hip-Hop Rap
World World beat; generally weird stuff, but great as background music
Jam Bands Bands that tend to be amazing live; they generally combine a number of different styles, but always seem to be great improvisers.
Spoken Word Storytelling at its finest
Country Devil worshipping music. Pure evil.
Ska Fast paced and very energetic; generally with simple guitar rifts and a horn section
Swing There's old-time swing, but there's also that newfangled swing...

R&B Rhythm and Blues. Smoothed out songs that you can groove to.
